Milford is an old town. It has a lot of charm and culturally it’s quite advanced. We have the Black Bear Film Festival every fall, a Music Festival with a week of music where bands from all over come and play throughout the town. It is a Historic town founded in 1796 shortly after the American Revolutionary War. It was founded by Judge John Biddis who named Milford after his ancestral home in Wales. If you like late Victorian architecture this is the town for you. Crime is low. People are friendly. The Delaware Valley High School is a blue ribbon school district meaning that it is exemplary. Milford is also the home of the Grey Towers National Historic site which is the home of Gifford Pinchot so you can say that Milford is where conservation began in the United States. In short Milford, Pennsylvania is a great place to visit, own a second home, live and raise a family. You can trust Bill Bertsch construction to take care of your property so all you have to do is enjoy all that we have to offer.
